An Introduction to the Environmental Law Clinic and the Social Cost of Carbon

Alex Valdes of the UChicago Law School will be discussing what the social cost of carbon is and how the clinic has advocated for its expanded use in governmental decisionmaking. He will introduce the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic, and discuss a representative project – writing an amicus brief in coal mine expansion permitting litigation.
