Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization empowering people to experience breakthroughs exercising their personal and political power. The Citizens’ Climate Lobby works for the passage of a national Carbon Fee and Dividend, the climate change solution economists and climate scientists alike say is the “best first-step” to preventing the worst impacts of a warming world.

Ashu Sharma is an MBA candidate at the Chicago Booth School of Business. He studies part-time and works in the water treatment industry as a Corporate Account Manager. Being passionate about all things climate-change related, he joined CCL in 2022 to help with local discourse and lobbying around climate.

Mike Holler is a volunteer community organizer and co-leader of Citizens’ Climate Lobby Chicago, which he joined in May 2021. He is a software engineer by day who strives to leave a positive impact on the world. In CCL Chicago, his focus is on creating community connections and partnerships throughout the city (especially in under-resourced neighborhoods) to help the voices of those communities reach all the way to DC.
