Founded in 2012 by Razi Ahmed (UChicago Alum Class of 2005), the Lahore Literary Festival is Pakistan’s largest cultural event, drawing tens of thousands of attendees, to hear eminent authors and academics. Past speakers have included American-Iranian academic Vali Nasr, Dean of Columbia Journalism School Steve Coll, theologian Reza Aslan, and Pulitzer-Prize winning authors like Eve Ensler and Paul Salopek.
