Professor Marco Garrido studies the role of social class in shaping urban space, social life, and politics. Recently, he published “The Patchwork City”, a book focused on the relationship between the urban poor and middle class in Manila, Philippines. He will sit down with undergraduate students for an informal discussion about his research, viewpoints, and career path as a sociologist. Vegetarian lunch provided!
