Dr. Amgad Elgowainy is a senior scientist and distinguished fellow at Argonne National Laboratory. He leads the Electrification and Infrastructure Group with focus on engineering process modeling, environmental life cycle analysis and techno-economic analysis of fuel infrastructure and vehicle technologies. Dr. Elgowainy has contributed to the development of the environmental life cycle analysis models (GREET®) since 2001 and has led the development of the hydrogen infrastructure technoeconomic suite of models (HDSAM). These models are recognized by thousands of users globally. Dr. Elgowainy authored and coauthored more than 200 technical publications.
